Leah and her husband, Chad, have been married for 16 years and spent 10 of those years trying to conceive. They received a diagnosis of unexplained infertility in 2005 and began their journey. Unfortunately, their insurance didn’t cover any treatments, so they know how stressful the financial burden can be. Over the next nine years, they underwent three rounds of IVF that ended in miscarriages and a failed adoption. In 2013, the Institute for Reproductive Health was chosen among many clinics in the nation to participate in a Clinical Drug Trial. Leah and Chad qualified for the study and were able to have a successful IVF cycle that resulted in the birth of a healthy baby boy.
Leah graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s in Business. Leah is a Senior Account Manager at Document Solutions, a Division of Modern Office Methods in Dayton, Ohio where she has spent the last 18 years. She also serves as the President-Elect of South Dayton BNI and works with The Humane Society.
After searching for ways to help the infertility community for years, she is grateful to serve on the Board of Directors for Parental Hope. Leah is humbled to have the opportunity to share her infertility journey with others and offer hope to current infertility patients.
She currently lives in Lebanon, Ohio with her husband and son, Connor.
