Dr. Thomas Burwinkel

Untitled design (2)Dr. Burwinkel earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. He completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Hospital in Cincinnati and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Tennessee Memphis.

Dr. Burwinkel is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and formerly served as medical director of the In Vitro Fertilization program at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Burwinkel is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology where he has served as Ohio Section Chair and Vice Chair. He is a former president of the Dayton Ob/Gyn Society.  He is also a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinology, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology.

Dr. Burwinkel serves as associate clinical professor in the Dept. of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University.  He is an expert in pelvic reconstructive surgery and in vitro fertilization.  Dr. Burwinkel, a Cincinnati native, lives in the Dayton area with his wife and three children.
