Laura Ghory
Event Co-Chair
Laura Ghory
Event Co-Chair
Laura earned her B.S.B.A in Management Information Systems from The Ohio State University. She has been working for General Electric since 2006 in a variety of IT roles and currently is working as a Technical Program Manager on Divestitures.
Laura feels lucky on so many levels. Compared to most couples battling infertility, they had a relatively short battle but the pain and struggle of infertility is something that never leaves you, even after you have your baby in your arms. She was fortunate enough to work for an employer like GE that provides infertility coverage. Without that benefit, IVF likely wouldn’t have been a possibility for them. Taking that gratefulness with her is what sparked her interest and passion to support Parental Hope’s mission. She became involved in the Event Planning Committee in 2016 and she has served as Event Planning Co-Chair since 2019 and remains in that role.
Laura lives in Evendale, Ohio with her husband, her son Joey and their cat, Booger. When she isn’t working as a project manager, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, photography and crafting.
