Amy & MIchael

Amy, a registered nurse, and Michael, an insurance agent, met through mutual friends in 2008 and quickly became best friends. They are members of Jubilee Christian Assembly of God and enjoy actively working in the church and spending time with their dog, Maggie. Amy and Michael officially began their relationship in 2010 a year later. After one year of marriage they decided to start a family and when that didn’t happen as planned, Amy saw a fertility specialist. The treatment options discussed, however, were not affordable.

In 2015, Amy had an exploratory laparoscopy surgery with no abnormalities found. Michael also had normal test results and the couple received a diagnosis of unexplained infertility. Since then, the couple has completed 22 rounds of fertility medications with no luck and no answers. Finally, after seven years of this infertility struggle, Amy crossed paths with a woman who told her how Parental Hope helped her daughter conceive.

“We are so thankful and blessed to be given this opportunity. The financial burden of IVF just wasn’t feasible for us and this grant is the greatest gift we have ever received.”
