Parental Hope Family Grants are awarded annually.

The number of Grants awarded each year will vary based upon availability of funds. The Grants will be awarded approximately 6-8 weeks after the application deadline. We will notify applicants via email that their Application  has been received. Not everyone who applies will be awarded a Grant.

All Parental Hope Family Grant funds shall be paid directly to the Institute of Reproductive Health in Cincinnati, OH. No funds shall be paid directly to the Parental Hope Family Grant recipient. Additionally, Grants cannot be used to reimburse for cycles that have already been performed.

Parental Hope Family Grants are designed to help infertile couples build families through advanced fertility treatments such as IVF, Frozen Embryo Transfers (FET) and egg donation.

IVF Grants cover the cost of one round of IVF including monitoring labs, monitoring ultrasounds, nurse IVF education session, physician fees for egg retrieval and embryo transfer and lab fees for egg fertilization. If ICSI is required, that process will be covered by the Grant.

FET Grants cover the cost of one embryo transfer. This includes monitoring labs, monitoring ultrasounds, and embryo transfer.

Medication is NOT included and is the sole responsibility of the Grant Recipients.

YES! Our Grants will cover an egg donor cycle, however, we are unable to cover medication costs and egg donor fees.

Grant recipients will be selected by the Parental Hope Board of Directors. Please be patient with us as we are an all-volunteer Board and we don’t want to rush the decision making process.

No, Applicants may apply multiple times and we encourage you to do so. Because we rely on donations, we are unable to award Grants to all applicants.

An application fee is required with each new submission. As medical situation changes from year to year, a new medical form completed by your doctor must be submitted with each Application.

No, any United States citizen with an infertility diagnosis can apply for the Grant, but all treatment will be conducted at the Institute for Reproductive Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. If awarded the Embryo Adoption Grant, treatment will take place at the National Embryo Donation Center in Knoxville, TN.

No, please do not submit letters of reference. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please do not think that spending money on a professional video essay is expected. The only thing we expect of the Applicants is to address the questions asked. A simple iPhone video is accepted and encouraged. Be yourselves. Show emotion. Be real. We want to see and get to know the real you! Both Applicants are required to participate in the video essay.
