Briana & Wesley

Briana and Wesley have been married for 10 years and together for 13. Briana, a preschool teachers assistant and, Wesley, a construction worker, love the outdoors. Wesley  plays golf and many other sports and Briana loves photography. They always knew they wanted kids and it was a discussion that happened quite frequently. In 2010 after getting engaged, Briana went for a normal OB/GYN appointment, but with questions. At that appointment, Briana was diagnosed with PCOS. The couple tried with medication for a few years, but then decided to go a step further and seek support from a Reproductive Endocrinoloigst.

After further testing, it was determined that Wesley had male-factor infertility. Briana and Wesley tried IUIs, but unfortunately, were unsuccessful. After months and months of various medications and surgeries, they decided to take a break for a while. Briana and Wesley didn’t want to give up on their dream of parenthood, but financially, they couldn’t afford IVF, which was the next step. One day, they got a call from a friend that she saw a place called parental Hope on the news and if you apply, you could receive an IVF Grant. Right away, Briana and Wesley knew they had to give it a shot. They applied for the Grant and began telling family and friends.

“On March 6th at the Spring For Hope event, our world changed. All the prayers, tears and donations worked as our names were called as recipients of a Grant!”
