Heather & Tyler

Heather and Tyler met in high school, but didn’t officially start dating until 2012 and have been inseparable since. They married June 30, 2018 in their small hometown. Tyler is a mortgage loan officer and Heather owns a salon/boutique with her sister. They enjoy spending time outdoors, either boating at the lake or camping.

Immediately after marriage, Heather and Tyler started trying for a family. After already being diagnosed with endometriosis several years ago, Heather started with three rounds of Clomid. Last year, they decided to seek help from a fertility specialist and from there, Heather was diagnosed with cervical stenosis. After several tests and surgeries, they did three rounds of IUI, all resulting in negative tests. So, they decided to move forward with IVF.

Heather and Tyler’s IVF cycle resulted in one perfect embryo and were ecstatic to learn the transfer was successful. The medications, injections, early morning appointments, blood work and surgeries were all finally worth it! At their six-week appointment, the doctors were certain the pregnancy wasn’t viable and at eight weeks, it was confirmed. More heartbreak.

“We’ve made it through this journey with patience, prayers, a supportive family, each other and the refusal to never give up hope! We look forward to continuing our journey to parenthood and are so grateful to receive this grant! Thank you Parental Hope!”
