Jennifer, an educator, and Adam, an accountant, have been married for eight years. They both enjoy reading, spending time with their dogs, and being complete nerds. They have struggled with infertility their entire marriage having undergone multiple tests and checks to explain their infertility.
Jennifer’s OBGYN recommended fertility tests by a specialist. Since children became the focus, Jennifer has had multiple cycles with Clomid and HSG procedures. Doctors haven’t explained their infertility despite them both going through tests. They were told the next step in growing their family is IUI.
Jennifer and Adam haven’t given up on their dream of hearing little feet in their home, but the costs of IUI without insurance coverage put a pause on things. In speaking with a friend from high school, Jennifer learned about Parental Hope. Her friend had recently received an IVF grant that resulted a child. With this information and renewed hope, Jennifer and Adam applied for the grant.
