Kayla & Zac

Kayla and Zac came to know each other shortly after high school through a mutual friend and the help of Facebook. Shortly after meeting, they started dating and eventually married. Kayla, a nurse, and Zac, an electrician, started trying for a family. For nearly four years at every family function, they would get asked when they were going to have kids. They always responded, “It will happen when it’s supposed to happen!” Their family had no idea that Kayla and Zac had been struggling with infertility. Clomid, monitored cycles, Femara and 1 IUI failure. They knew IVF was the answer, but not sure how they were going to afford it.

In January, Kayla started researching grants and programs that might be able to help them with the financial burden that comes with IVF. She stumbled upon Parental Hope and the IVF raffle that was taking place at their upcoming Journey to Parenthood event. After discussing with Zac, the couple decided to move forward with entering the raffle. The couple tried not to get their hopes up as they knew the chances of winning were slim.

“We believe that we were led to this raffle for a reason. It was meant to be. Our chance of becoming parents and having the family we have planned for are finally within reach.”
