Natasha & Kyle

Natasha and Kyle met in middle school, became best friends in high school, and started dating the last month of their senior year in 2010 (barely making the cut to be high school sweethearts). By September 2011, they were engaged and married in December of 2012.

Both were ready to start a family shortly after getting married, but soon found the right decision for them was to focus on building a strong marital foundation before welcoming any children. By 2015, Kyle and Natasha felt they were ready and started trying to conceive. Month after month, they received the same outcome, a negative pregnancy test. Through many tears, heartbreaks, and prayers, they decided it was time to talk to their doctor in December of 2017.

Natasha spoke with her doctor, who ordered a semen analysis for Kyle and an HSG test for Natasha. While Natasha’s test came back clear, Kyle’s analysis came back abnormal. At this point, they were referred to Dr. Scheiber at the Institute for Reproductive Health. Dr. Scheiber informed them about IUI and they started right away in March 2018. After three rounds of IUI, Natasha and Kyle, once again, received the same outcome – a negative pregnancy test. Dr. Scheiber then gave them three options to continue their infertility journey and he believed IVF would be their most successful option.

With a heavy heart, Natasha and Kyle accepted the fact that IVF was in their future and they made their education day appointment in July 2018. Little did they know, they would soon find themselves struggling through financial hardships. Knowing the severe cost of IVF, Natasha and Kyle thought it was best to put their infertility journey on hold until their hardships came to pass and would be able to pay for IVF and raise a child.

As Kyle called to cancel their first IVF appointment, a kind nurse informed him about the Parental Hope Family Grant. This gave Kyle and Natasha a glimmer of hope as they applied and mailed in their application in August 2018. As the weeks went by, they prayed harder than ever before to be recipients so they could continue this journey. Good news came in October 2018 when they were notified that they would be recipients of an IVF grant!

“Receiving this grant is an answered prayer and it feels like so much weight has been lifted off of our shoulders. We cannot wait to continue this infertility journey and will forever be grateful for Parental Hope.”

***Update: Natasha & Kyle welcome Griffin Wolf on December 15, 2019.
