Christina & Kyle

Christina and Kyle’s journey to starting a family began in 2019 when they met through work in the field of radiology. They got married in August 2021 and soon after, they decided it was time to build a family.

Initially, Christina thought that getting pregnant would be a simple process after stopping birth control. However, months went by without any success, leading to frustration and disappointment. After a year of trying without any positive results, Christina decided to consult her doctor.

During the appointment, Christina was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). The doctor suggested blood work and fertility medications as possible solutions. However, despite undergoing numerous tests, trying different medications, and even having procedures done, they still didn’t achieve the desired outcome.

Feeling hopeless, Christina and Kyle decided to seek help from another physician. They tried more medications and underwent two failed IUIs (Intrauterine Insemination). Eventually, they opted for a laparoscopic procedure to check for endometriosis. Despite their efforts, they had almost given up on their dream of starting a family.

However, their luck changed when a mutual friend introduced them to Parental Hope. They applied for the Parental Hope Grant and were thrilled to receive the news that they were recipients. Parental Hope became the support system they never expected to need but are incredibly grateful for. They credit Parental Hope for bringing hope back into their lives and giving them the opportunity to fulfill their dream of having a family.

Christina and Kyle appreciate the support as they embark on their IVF journey. They are hopeful that this next step will bring them closer to their dream of starting a family.
