Emily & Brandon

Emily and Brandon met when they were both out with friends on a Friday night at a local tavern eating and listening to a local band. They struck up a conversation and quickly began dating. After a short while, they knew they wanted to build a life together. Puppies, traveling, and a new home were a great start, but now they are ready for more.

Emily found out at a very young age that due to PCOS and severe endometriosis, fertility would be a challenge. Throughout her first marriage, several IUIs were attempted that resulted in miscarriages, and an emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy that ultimately led to losing one fallopian tube. Brandon knew of this history and has been very supportive.

Brandon himself was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age and they were unsure if his previous treatments had any impact for him to have children. After meeting with the doctors, Brandon passed his tests with flying colors! Both Emily and Brandon remain hopeful in finding options to proceed with having children, despite the obstacles.

“IVF was recommended and we began looking for assistance to help with the costs. We feel blessed to have found Parental Hope to share stories and be a support for other families going through similar emotions. Being chosen as the IVF recipients is incredibly humbling when you know so many are still struggling. We are so thankful and very excited to begin this journey to complete our family.”
