Hannah & Brison

High school sweethearts from Garrett County, Maryland, Hannah and Brison married in 2014 and have since made Lawrenceburg, KY, their home. They both work with children on a daily basis as teachers, with Hannah teaching 4th grade and Brison teaching in a middle school in Lexington. Their journey towards parenthood and having children of their own has been marked by moments of hope and determination.

For almost six years, Hannah and Brison have navigated the complexities of infertility, seeking assistance from the Institute for Reproductive Health in 2021. Their journey began with identifying PCOS as a major cause, as well as a thyroid condition that also impacted fertility. Despite a major myomectomy surgery and seven IUI treatment cycles, starting their family has been out of their reach.

Now, grappling with the financial strain of their persistent efforts, the Hannah and Brison have been granted crucial support through the Parental Hope grant. This grant is more than just financial aid; it represents an acknowledgement of their challenging journey and provides them with renewed hope to continue pursuing their dream of building a family.
