Hannah & Geovanny

Hannah and Geo’s love story began at a church retreat, where they started a friendship that slowly turned into an unbreakable bond. Their love for each other grew stronger with every passing day, and it became clear that they were meant to be together. They were married in the summer of 2020 in a simple ceremony, surrounded by only their closest family members, amidst a period of global uncertainty.

After tying the knot, they had a well-planned strategy for growing their family. However, things didn’t go as per their plan, and they soon realized that starting a family was not going to be as easy as they had hoped. Despite trying everything from the calendar method to health and lifestyle changes and a few cycles of IUI, they were left with nothing but disappointment and frustration.

Hannah had always dreamed of adopting a child, and they both continued to have conversations about the kind of adoption they wanted and when they should start that journey. They found that embryo adoption would be the perfect answer, as it would allow them to adopt a child into their family while also fulfilling Hannah’s desire to experience pregnancy and bond with the growing life inside her. They had already spent a lot of money on fertility treatments, and a friend suggested that they apply for a grant to help with the costs.

That’s when they discovered Parental Hope and, with just two weeks left before the deadline, they worked tirelessly to gather all the necessary documentation and submitted their application. Receiving the grant from Parental Hope was an incredible blessing, and they still can’t believe their luck. They are looking forward to this opportunity to carry their baby and start their family with love and joy.

“Receiving this grant has been an amazing blessing, one we still can’t fully believe, and we cannot wait for this chance to carry our baby!”
