Kristen & Rob

Kristen has worked as a special education teacher since graduating college for the past six years. Rob is a Territory Sales Manager for a steel manufacturer, where he has been employed for eight years. Kristen is from Marietta, Ohio and Rob is from Loveland, Ohio. They currently reside in Madisonville, OH with their bernedoodle, Lucy. Kristen and Rob met at Milford High School in 2008 and started dating in 2009 during their sophomore year. They have been on many adventures and cannot imagine life without one another. They married in 2017 and shortly after, started trying to grow their family.

After trying to conceive for a year and a half naturally, Kristen and Rob began seeking out fertility specialists. Through meeting with specialists Kristen and Rob tried many cycles that included different medication supports. In 2020, Kristen and Rob stopped medicated cycles and attempted two rounds of IUI. Based on lab work, Kristen was finally diagnosed with PCOS which is why it has been so difficult to conceive. After years of trying naturally, with medications, with IUIs, and lots of doctor’s appointments/ blood tests, it was determined that the best way to grow their family is through IVF.

“Through the process of trying to conceive there have been many ups and downs, but the two things that have remained constant are our faith in God and our love for one another. We feel so blessed to have crossed paths with Parental Hope and to have been given this opportunity to start growing the family we have always dreamed of. We cannot thank Parental Hope enough and are so excited to begin the next steps of our journey with them by our side along with our family and friends.”
