Nicole & Michael

Nicole & Michael went to school together until high school graduation when life took then in different directions. In 2018, they reconnected when Nicole reached out to Michael on social media. Michael has two incredible children, Keegan & Karlee. It was love at first site for all of us. Nicole works as a surgery team lead for an ophthalmology practice & Michael is a machinist. They married in May of 2020 and as a family, are very active. They enjoy the outdoors with their two fur babies.

After trying to conceive on their own for two years, they were referred to a fertility specialist. IUI was recommended with a good success rate but after two failed treatments, it was determined that trying IUI again would be less than a 5% success rate. Due to Nicole’s age, it was then recommended that IVF would be the next step. Michael & Nicole began the process of looking into what would be covered by their insurance for IVF. The news was not what they hoped. There wasn’t coverage of any kind for IVF. The cost was a major factor since they have two other children to care for. Michael knew it was Nicole’s dream to have a baby, so he bang searching for possible grant options. In Michael’s search, he came across Parental Hope and they began the application process.

“We were both shocked and incredibly thankful for the opportunity Parental Hope has given us. This has forever changed our lives. We are so excited to begin this journey & we hope to add a new love to our little family.”
