Yone & John

John, originally from the Northern Virginia area, brings a wealth of experience in business development and ministry. On the other hand, Yone hails from Venezuela and has a background in Cosmetology and Elementary Education. For the past 20 years, she has dedicated herself to Children’s ministry, touching the lives of countless little ones.

These lovebirds met during their college days while salsa dancing in a local studio. John, with his smooth moves, literally swept Yone off her feet, and their love story began.

After four years of dating, they tied the knot and embarked on a new chapter together. They moved to Northern Virginia, where they both immersed themselves in Children’s ministry and private education. Their shared passion for kids and the next generation was evident in everything they did.

However, life had its own plans for John and Yone. In 2020, they faced unexpected fertility complications while trying to conceive. It was a challenging time for them, but they remained resilient and hopeful.

Thankfully, they discovered that adopting an embryo was a viable pathway for them to fulfill their dream of becoming parents. This revelation filled their hearts with immense gratitude and hope. They want to extend their love and support to all the families who have faced infertility on their journey. You are not alone, and together, we can overcome any obstacle.

John and Yone would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to Parental Hope for choosing them for a grant. This incredible organization has been a beacon of light for countless families, providing them with the support and resources they need.
